Spotted in Milano: Neoprene Birkin copy by Leghila

Each of us were strolling down Via Manzano on the business-slash-excursion to Milano, seeking new trinkets to fill our Spring wardrobe with, we couldn’t help but notice another accept Hermes’ Birkin handbag.

We discovered a design house called Leghila, known specifically their washable Mulberry Bags|, that actually sells sold a model known as the B-Bag, a Birkin copy made entirely beyond colourful neoprene material.

A great look at the collection gave us concluding that its humorous, upbeat hues, in conjunction with the utilitarian and modern feel of neoprene, gunned for just a different segment on the fashion market – not an issue that would cannibalise the previous customer base for Hermes.

However, a great consider recent Mulberry Clutch Bags Sale within the rag trade gave us the concept that it turned out probably case waiting to take place. Any non-official interpretation of the Birkin design, or any recognisable Hermes design even, has always wound up in the lawsuit. Remember Banane Taipei’s canvas totes? French luxury house filed an IPR lawsuit from the Taiwanese manufacturer for allegedly ripping off images of the Birkin bag.

And we were right. Basically we haven’t heard about any lawsuit yet, Leghila has acted on their own to discontinue selling the Mulberry Alexa Bags, if this type of “Bye Bye B-Bag” message available on their website is usually to be believed. These are, instead, Bottega-fying their neoprene collection now. We recommend wanting to source a duplicate, just by the sake of owning an issue that’s been discontinued.
